Survey Says: Readers love blogs, but not for big news stories

A recent community survey says fifty percent of people turn to traditional media - TV newspapers, radio, and the assorted online versions on those outlets - for information on major events.

The survey, sponsored by LexisNexis, also shows that only 6% of people turned to 'emerging media' sources, such as blogs, for breaking news. 50% still look towards TV, 42% go with radio, and 25% chose newspapers.
