Reggie Aggarwal, Cvent Founder and CEO, received the prestigious Greater Washington's Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 Award. Aggarwal was selected by a panel of independent judges and presented with the award at a gala last night. He was joined by members of Cvent's management team at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner event.

The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Celebrating its 23rd anniversary, the program honors entrepreneurs who demonstrate exceptionality in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Rene Salas, Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year Program Director for Greater Washington said, "winners of the Entrepreneur Of The Year award build leading businesses and contribute significantly to the strength of our region’s economy. Their success helps our area grow stronger."

As a Greater Washington award winner, Aggarwal is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 national program. The winner of this award will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, in November.
